Montreal’s Architek Percussion and New York soprano Susan Botti join the famous Mi’kmaq painter, percussionist and storyteller Alan Syliboy to premiere a new piece specially written for Scotia Festival by Métis composer Eliot Britton. After intermission, Symphony Nova Scotia’s beloved former conductor Bernhard Gueller will lead a performance of Dvorak’s sunny Serenade for Winds.
